WEDDINGS AND EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PAYMENT

1a. We require a 50% deposit to secure the date for wedding and event flowers.

1b. By paying the deposit, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, without exception.

1c. The prices quoted within the proposal are valid for one month from the date sent by email. If we do not receive the deposit within this time, the prices may be subject to change.

1d. The full fees are due to be paid at least 30 days before the wedding/event.

1e. Wedding and event flowers have to be ordered at certain precise times depending on the variety to ensure they arrive in advance and with enough time to fully open so that they are in peak condition for the day. We are unable to place any orders with our suppliers until we have received full payment. Therefore, if full payment is not received on or before your balance due date, it is less likely that we will be able to secure the varieties or sundries specified for your wedding.

2. CHANGES AND ALTERATIONS

2a. You make any changes or alterations up to 3 weeks before the wedding date that is equal to, or above, the value of the total payment received.

2b. Any changes must be communicated to us directly by the person who placed the order.

2c. We will do everything in our power to have your chosen flowers, but we cannot be held responsible for any failures of delivery of special orders by the wholesaler. In the rare case of delivery failure, or if the flowers arrive to us in an unsatisfactory condition, we will do all we can to substitute the ordered flowers with the nearest varieties to the original order. Slight variations in colour and size may occur.

3. POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION

3a. If a wedding or event is postponed or cancelled, this must be communicated to us as soon as possible.

3b. If a wedding or event is postponed we can transfer any payments received thus far, including the deposit, towards the new booking provided we receive 30 days’ notice and we have availability on the new revised date.

3c. Any cancellations 30 days before the event will receive a refund of the payment received minus the deposit.

3d. Jazz Flowers cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver any order due to an act of God, terrorism, crime, transport failure, extreme weather conditions, or denial of access to venues or religious sites. We recommend purchasing Wedding Insurance from a reputable company to protect your investment on your wedding day.

4. ISSUES AND COMPLAINTS

4a. If there are any issues with your wedding/event flowers upon arrival, please notify us immediately so we can try to resolve the problem. We are unable to provide any refunds or fix any issues that we are notified about after the wedding/event.

5. VASE AND OTHER SUNDRIES HIRE

5a. If choosing the hire option for glassware or any other sundries, these must be returned within 3 working days. Alternatively, we can collect the hired items for you and this will be costed for in the proposal.

5b. If any items are lost, broken, or damaged, the person who placed the order will be charged the full price for the item and must make payment on request within 7 days.
